We print on one side or both – the back gives extra space for key information, instructions, or simply a splash of colour. We protect the surface with one of four laminate finishes: gloss, matte, soft touch, or scratch-resistant matte. The last one works well with dark colours, since it doesn't show fingerprints. On a clipboard that passes through many hands every day, that's real protection against scratching.
