This calculator is used to price and order softcover (perfect-bound) books.
The cover should always be laminated, otherwise cracks will form on the spine.
To price books, enter in order: Format, number of pages, Quantity, Inner pages material, cover lamination type and binding edge. Then press the "CALCULATE" button.
NOTE: the calculator must be filled in from top to bottom, never in the reverse order.
Limitations with standard glue:
- thickness of the bound publication, min – max 0.1 – 40 mm
- maximum format of the bound block (finished book format) up to 320 x 235 mm
Quantities of books with the same parameters (format, number of pages, print, material and finishing) can be
combined, e.g. 20 and 50 books with different graphics but the same parameters are calculated as 70 copies. With a large variety or number of designs, an additional fee may be charged (e.g. 20 different books with the same parameters).
Books can be personalised, i.e. each inner page can be different, and this also applies to covers. Personalisation is priced individually.
