Paper and cardboard hang tags with your logo
A hang tag is a small printed card that hangs on a product. It is also called a swing tag or a paper label. We print it from your design on thick board, from 50 pieces. We do not make woven or sewn-in fabric labels.
Four shapes, any size
In the calculator you pick the shape from a tile. We cut rectangles on a guillotine, and you can round the corners with a 5 or 10 mm radius. Ovals (equal sides give a circle), tags with clipped top corners and tags with an arched top are cut on a plotter.
You enter the size yourself, from 30 to 250 mm per side. The most popular sizes, 50 × 90, 85 × 55 and 70 × 100 mm, are ready as quick buttons. We redraw the clipped corners and the arch for your size, so a small 40 × 70 mm tag looks as good as a large 100 × 150 mm one.
The hole where you want it
The hole is 3, 4 or 5 mm in diameter. By default it sits in the centre, 6 mm below the top edge. In the calculator preview you drag it with a mouse or a finger. The calculator keeps at least 3 mm of board between the hole and the cut line, so the tag does not tear.
You do not need to send a separate file marking the hole. We take its position from the calculator, and the PDF template already shows it with a safety margin. We do not add strings or elastic loops: you get the tags with the hole ready.
Paper and finishing
The default stock is 350 g matt coated board. You can also choose 350 g gloss and 300 g matt, 350 g satin, 300 g coated board and Upside 350 g. For a natural look take kraft paper (grey 290 g or smooth 255 g) or textured Tintoretto Gesso 300 g. For rigid tags there is 1 mm MultiLoft, and 368 g PET copes with moisture.
Printing is one- or two-sided. You can laminate the tag with matt, gloss or soft-touch film, on one or both sides. The logo can be foiled in gold, silver or holographic: we apply hot foil on soft-touch film.
What our customers use them for
Most tags go on clothing from fashion and sports brands. We also print tags for candles, round tags for protective workwear, large price tags for furniture stores and tags for car service shops. You can order several designs in one run, for example a separate tag for each colour of a collection.
Quantity and price
The minimum order is 50 pieces, the default is 250. The calculator shows the price and lead time straight away, and the price per tag drops noticeably on bigger runs. A custom shape that is not among the tiles we quote on request: use the “Request a quote” button in the calculator.
