Barwa for AI agents — quotes in ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini

BARWA print shop is available to AI assistants. Connect our MCP server to ChatGPT or Claude and ask for quotes, products and file specs — the agent uses the same pricing engine as our on-site calculator.

What does it give you?

Your AI assistant can recommend a product for your need, produce a quote with real calculator prices, check shipping costs and print-file requirements — you ask in plain words, the agent queries the print shop.

ChatGPT

  1. Settings → Apps & Connectors → enable Developer mode (Plus/Pro plan).
  2. Add a connector: name barwa, MCP server URL: https://mcp.barwa.pl/mcp, no authentication.
  3. In a chat click +, select barwa and ask e.g. “quote 500 business cards 85×54, double-sided”.

Claude

  1. Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
  2. Name barwa, URL: https://mcp.barwa.pl/mcp → Add.
  3. Enable the barwa tool in your chat.

Gemini / Chrome

In Chrome with the Gemini assistant no setup is needed — barwaprint.eu exposes its tools to the agent directly (WebMCP). Open the site and ask Gemini for a quote.

  • barwa_recommend_product — advisor — describe your need, get matching products
  • barwa_get_product_pricing_schema — full product configuration schema (papers, formats, finishes)
  • barwa_get_quote — quote — the same prices as the on-site calculator
  • barwa_get_shipping_info — shipping costs and methods
  • barwa_get_file_specs — print file requirements (bleed, resolution, CMYK)

Logged-in customers in the browser can additionally view their orders and add a quote to the cart — always with an on-screen confirmation; the agent cannot buy anything on its own.

Security and privacy

All tools are read-only (except the cart, which requires login and your click). Prices are exactly the same as in the on-site calculator — 1:1 our real offer. Keep in mind, however, that the AI assistant is a language model and can make mistakes — e.g. misread your need or pick a different configuration than you intended. Always confirm the final specification and amount in the cart. Requests are rate-limited and no personal data is shared with agents.
