Place cards from your own design
We print place cards for weddings, First Communions, christenings, birthdays and company events, as well as name cards for conference tables. You prepare the design yourself, in a graphics program or in Canva, and we take care of printing, creasing and cutting. We do not sell ready-made templates.
A different name on every card
You don't have to send a separate file for each guest. Choose personalisation in the calculator and upload the design and the guest list as an Excel or CSV file. In the personalisation studio you choose where the name goes, pick a typeface and instantly see a preview of several finished cards. The studio also checks the list and flags a repeated name or an empty row before anything goes to print.
If you would rather write the names by hand, order the cards without personalisation. Matt coated and fine papers without film take a ballpoint pen or marker well.
Tent or flat
The most popular option is the 90 × 50 mm tent card: we print it on a 90 × 100 mm card, crease it at half height, and once folded it stands on the table by itself. We also have 85 × 55 mm tents, the size of a business card, and longer 100 × 50 mm ones for double names or first name plus surname.
Flat cards, 90 × 50 and 85 × 55 mm, can be placed on a plate, tucked into a napkin or tied to a small bouquet.
Paper
By default we print on 350 g matt coated paper. It is stiff, so the tent does not sag, and it does not reflect light. You can also choose 300 g silk paper and 290 g grey kraft paper, which suits rustic decorations.
For a more elegant event choose fine paper: ivory-toned Ivory 350 g, cream Elfenbein 246 g with a linen texture, textured Tintoretto Gesso 300 g or Sirio Pearl Ice White 300 g with a subtle pearl sheen.
Printing and film
By default we print one side of the card, which means both outer faces of the tent. Double-sided printing is useful if you want colour or a pattern on the inside too. On coated and silk paper you can laminate the cards with matt or soft-touch film. If the names will be written by hand, leave the cards without film.
Place cards as part of a set
Place cards look best in the same style as the rest of your stationery. On the same paper we also print folded cards, for example menus or thank-you cards for guests, and printed DL envelopes.
Quantity, turnaround and price
We print from 10 pcs; the calculator shows 50 by default. One order can contain several different designs, for example separate cards for the head table. We ship the cards flat with the crease ready, so you fold them in one move. You see the price and turnaround for your configuration in the calculator straight away.
