Size and bleed
Design a folded place card flat, at its unfolded size: the 90 × 50 mm tent is a 90 × 100 mm card, 85 × 55 mm is 85 × 110 mm, and 100 × 50 mm is 100 × 100 mm. Flat cards are 90 × 50 or 85 × 55 mm. Extend the background 2 mm beyond the edge on every side and keep text at least 3 mm from the edge.
Fold line
The tent is folded at half height, so the fold line runs horizontally through the middle of the card. The bottom half is the front. After folding, the top half becomes the back and is upside down, so rotate its artwork by 180°. Keep the name, logo and important text at least 3 mm from the fold line. Outside and inside
For single-sided printing the PDF has one page with both outer faces of the tent. For double-sided printing add a second page with the inside. Several designs in one order are uploaded as separate files.
Guest names
For personalisation, leave an empty space for the name on the front face, without a sample name. Prepare the guest list in Excel or CSV, one person per row; you set the position and typeface in the personalisation studio after uploading. See the article on online print personalisation for details.
File format
Send a CMYK PDF with fonts embedded or outlined and images at 300 dpi. After upload we check the file automatically and you see the result before you pay.
